چکیده

Ovarian torsion is an important reproductive gynecological emergency in daily life and physiology. Granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) a glycoprotein capable of hematopoietic development successfully used the treatment congenital granulocytopenia. In our study, we aimed to investigate protective effects G-CSF on ovarian ischemia reperfusion (IR) immunohistochemically. Four groups were used. control group, abdomen was opened closed with surgical protocol. The rats group given 100 µg/kg subcutaneously before IR surgically closed. 3-h then induced ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) group. IR+G-CSF procedure performed. At end experiment, tissues fixed 10% formalin processed for routine paraffin tissue Normal histology observed groups. vascular dilatations, hemorrhage increased inflammation observed. I/R+G-CSF pathology seen decreased. IL-6 expression mainly negative Positive immune reaction granulosa cells stromal area. significantly decreased follicular structures area compared I/R conclusion, reduced dilatation model promoted folliculogenesis.

Expression of granulocyte colony stimulating factor (GCSF) in Hansenula polymorpha

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES During past decades Hansenula polymorpha has attracted global attention for the expression of recombinant proteins due to its high growth rate, minimal nutritional porequirements and use of methanol as a low cost inducer. MATERIALS AND METHODS The corresponding nucleotide sequences for the expression of heterologous genes in Hansenula poylmorpha were extracted and as...

Efficient Process Development of Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor (rh-GCSF) Production in Escherichia coli

Background: The protein hormone granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (GCSF) stimulates the production of white blood cells and plays an important role in medical treatment of cancer patients. Methods: An efficient process was developed for heterologous expression of human GCSF in E. coli BL21 (DE3). The feeding rate was adjusted to achieve the maximum attainable specific growth rate under crit...

Neuroprotective effects of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor on ischemia-reperfusion injury of the retina.

PURPOSE It has been reported that granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) provides neuroprotection in models in which neuronal cell death is induced. This research was designed to investigate the effects of G-CSF on neurodegeneration of the inner retinal layer in a rat model of ischemic reperfusion (I/R) injury. MATERIALS AND METHODS Retinal ischemia was induced by increasing the intrao...

Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor.

In the background section of their abstract, Woei-Cherng Shyu and associates state that because granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) has anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties and the capacity to mobilize stem cells, it has the potential to be used in treatment of stroke. However, there are limited data about the effects of G-CSF on hemostasis. It has been suggested that G-CS...
